Default I don't know about this sh@#!

So I got my hood pins for my carbon hood and I am standing in front of my car looking @ my hood, then @ the pins, then @ all those screws that would have to be drilled in my pretty hood.

Now I am having second thought on this whole hood pin thing.

Holes in your hood are prettier than your hood in your windshield

I don't have pins in mine. I have pins at home (Sparco), but I haven't needed them. My hood is the shizzle.

well think of it this way, if you spent more than 800 on your hood, most likely you wont need them if they're pure CF, if you only spent 300-500 you will most likely need them since most of the hoods that cheap are mostly fiberglass.

Who spends $800 on a cf hood. You can get a vis hood for $500 shipped.

I've personally seen a hood flip open due to no hood pins and just relying on the hood latch. Remember most of the time the latch on aftermarket hoods are GLUED on instead of bolted to the hood like an OEM hood.

When I had a CF hood I always used pins.
