Will 17" rims fit on my 5g 4dr civic? Or will there be problems?

They fit. +42 offset is the best offset, but +40 will also work. you will want to run 205/40/17 tires, and may have to roll the front wheelwell lip(atleast the top of it where the liner mounts).

:eh: what?

I ran 17s with a 42mm offset with 205/40s and skunk2 c/os for over a year and I never had problems. I ran it low too.

I would rub just a little when I was turned all the way, but that's it.

You'll be fine with 17s

My old crome (+40) use to rub the liner's mounting point( on some dips and driveways) so i rolled that part:dunno: . My +42 have never given me a problem.
