Default type-s or type-r?

hey guys i was debating on where to post this thread.. typer or rsx section but i decided to post it here I've been a long time type-s fan.. and still love it and wish to own one for my first car. I'm getting my first car in march 2004 ish.. and my parents have set the money limit to $17k.. possibly $18k. Now I'm interested in ITR too and confused which car will be best fit for me. so waht do you guys think? Type-r or type-s? (money wise.. performance wise... )

thanks

Type-R has got bling, and WOW factor, but no matter where and how you drive your gonna hear the engine with its high revs due to gearing. Also depends on where you live which you neglected to include un your profile...

Also whose paying your insurance, Type-S RSX may be cheaper.

if your parents are willing to pay 18 then def. get an itr. u could get a nice itr for 15 or 16, and there about 20 times more fun to drive than a type s, go with the itr and u will be set my man

I don't know man. Just depends on how you are going to use it and your personal preference. I've driven a Type-S and a Integra with a Type-R motor and I don't know what I like more. I love both the B and K series motors. If you are going to heavily modify your car, I think that the K series is surprising the hell out of people by how well it takes modificationsa and the power gains.

It's up to you.

Hmmmmmm.......with 17K.......

1, Buy an old Mustang that has a blown engine $6,000

2. Buy a 351 block crate engine $8000

3. Buy a 9.9 rear end assembly $2500

4. Pass every Type S and Type R you could have bought for 17k

OR maybe do the same thing with an Integra that has a blown engine. Sometimes you can piece together a better deal.

drive them both...that's the best way to decide what you like more. it doesn't matter what anyone on here likes better, you're the one that's gonna be driving it

Sounds good for you, but I doubt that's anything people here want to do . Regardless of how much faster it will be .
