Default Some new *pics* Better pics of the new front drop, cleaned engine bay

Hey fellas.

The one pic I posted last time of the new front drop kinda sucked, so here's some better pics, and with the full car view.

H&R Sport and Neuspeed Koni Yellows. Front is on perch 2 of 5 (probably .25" lower than stock shock perch), and rear is on middle perch.

Some other random pics:

Cleaned up my engine bay a bit. Sorry there isn't anything real cool in there to see.

I flushed my brake fluid today...nice to see the right color of fluid again:

Why did you flush the brake fluid? Was pedal pressure down?

Nice engine. Did your hail damage get fixed--b/c the pics look great.

I just used a clear piece of tubing. You can pick it up at a local auto parts store. Just pull off the rubber boot covering the bleeding outlet, and put the tube on, use a tube long enough that you can put it into a milk jug, etc. Clear is good, because you can see the fluid change color when you've flushed out the old fluid.

Hey Chad

I flushed it because it's got 60K miles, and it's never been done before. It's scheduled every 45K miles, so I was a bit overdue. I really didn't feel any problems before I flushed it though. It does feel a bit more firm now, but hardly noticable.

Check your PM on that hail damage, sorry it took me so long to reply.

I just cleaned mine the other day and used Gunk Engine Brite. Sorry, no pics, but jschmid's engine is pretty representative of how mine turned out. Check out this link from the DIY forum. Pretty good discussion about cleaning the engine. https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...t=clean+engine .

There is one tip in there about using tire foam and/or silicone afterwards, but I chose not to use anything as they tend to attract dirt. My engine had 60k miles worth of grime, and it turned out great.
