Default Gauge Cluster -- Problem!!! 1992 GSR!!!

Ok guys, i got a guy thats bought the integra and im trying to help him install some white face gauges that he wants on the car (think it adds to the white exterior...). Im actually trying to fix a mistake that he has done tho.

Problem: He pulled straight out with the gauge cluster and didnt even think about it. I heard a loud SNAP and then it came out. The wires are all intact and are working fine (I.E. Gauges light up and all...).

The plug thats on the end of the speed dometer actually broke!
So i got the plug re-attached firmly and its ok on that end, but on the back of the cluster its actually got a CRACK where the plug goes in...

So im thinking that im going to be able to fix it right?WRONG :madfawk:

My question is this. I tried to actually take apart the speedometer and look at what is messed up and i found what it was, now my question is if i order a new gauge cluster and install it will i need to actually get the speedometer recallibrated or no?

Besides buying a new gauge cluster can anyone think of anything else ill have to buy in order to fix this dam mistake for him? (yea, you heard it right im fixing it for him and hes going to pay me for the parts and a lil bit for labor).

Please gimme some assistance.

Its a 1992 Integra GSR

since u got a 92 gsr, u know that the cluster isnt gonna be exactly cheap. Actually its going to be very hard to find since those cars were made in such limited numbers. If you can pick up a used cluster from a LS RS or GS teg. from how im understanding the problem, you might be able to swap the speedo only from cluster to cluster, and if you can you are saved a big hassel. the tach on early models go to 9k if im not wrong, and that is the only main difference between that cluster and a regular one.

good luck
