hey im looking for the shell off a recentlly stolen type r one that has been stripped and all. im planing on takeing it and using the suspension system and so forth but jstu buy the aftermarket parts. if u have one or seen one please post

 

There is a yellow one that is missing seats and motor in Florida and a white one that is completely ripped apart on eBay right now. Just do a search on "Integre Type R" and search from the highest priced to the lowest priced...should be on the first page.

 

thanks man i acctually found a yellow on ebay missing only the engine transmision and seats i was palning on buying a sppon assy engine neway but u know where i an get a cheap trany?

 

The one in Florida...right...for $5,999? Tranny's you can find on ebay as well or look at some places that import engines from Japan. Also if you have the dough for a Spoon ITR engine just mate it to the Spoon ITR tranny.

 

i didn't know spoon made itr trannys, thx tho and i'll need some headers r the spoons good compared tot their high price tag or r ther other better ehaders

 

For an ITR I would look at getting a Hytech complete exhaust or Mugen header and and twin loop exhaust. Toda also makes a very good header for the B18C5.

 

hey man thanks for all the help i almost have enough for all the parts but am going to buy the shell before it goes for the inital bare essentials it's gonna cost me 14 grand to put together

 

the toda header has made the most gains on the dyno according to a recent header test i was checking out, I think they compared it with the hytech, smsp, dc sports, jdm 4-1 and a bunch others. It's prolly the best out there from what i hear, also are u familiar with spoon engines? Are you gettin a red top or yellow top spoon motor. I believe the red tops are stock honda motors with all internals balanced and blueprinted, I heard the yellow tops are fully built using spoon internals. I'm interested in hearing your plans so keep us posted. Thanks

 

Sounds good...let us know how the project is going. Have you though about an ECU yet? I assume you are going all motor...if so the Mugen ECU is very good...when I get the $$ to build my engine I am going to be getting that.

i didn't even know of the two spoon engines yet i currently don't have enough money to get the engine yet. and i'll keep you guys posted on it and yea im going all motor turbos are cool but if i g turbo im going to go awd prolly wrx or somthing of the sort later in my life when i get more money. for now i buy repo cars and sell them for a profit
