Goodyear EAGLE F1 GS-D3's 225/45/ZR17 on 17" X 7.5" Kosei Racing K1's.

225/50/16 will fit on the stock rims and maintain the the same diameter as the stock 205/55/16

Wait a minute. If the stock size is 205/55/16, then wouldn't 225 be 225/45/16. Its plus (2) so wouldn't it be minus (2)??? I just thought that was the system...please by all means correct me if I'm wrong.

Peace.

No the diameter of the 225/50/16 comes out to

225X.50=112.5x2=225/25.4=8.86+16=24.86"
205X.55=112.75x2=225.5/25.4=8.88+16=24.88"

Thanks everyone for your input, I REALLY appreciate it
I guess I just need a little help to decide if to go with Toyo FZ4's, Kumho 712's or Goodyears F1...
Optimal tire size seems to be 225x50x16, Thanks to tha OldMan.
How's the wear/tear on these tires, i'm not to picky on how loud it gets, just need them to last me thru 1 full season (including canadian winter) with out any problems.

Best rain handling tires I have ever had. And they are also awesome in dry weather. And the price makes them that much more :thumbup:

I highly recommend them.
