That sounds way too high...

a friend of mine had a 95 GSR that ran 14.9 with just a 3" cat back (Yes, I know, 3" on a stock gsr  )

all that stuff should atleast put him in at low 14's. Maybe he's having trouble with control and wheelspin. Tell him to get it tuned then get some slicks...or to learn to drive. depending on what is required most.

i dont know the guy i was on another forum and i saw his time slip and the mods he had listed he should have been way faster. i am trying to see what mods i want to do to my gsr. right now i have 2.25 custom exhaust, injen short ram. I just got the car 4 months ago. looking at header, highflow cat , rims and coilovers next. GSR kicks ass  :drunk:

Doesn't list any wheels or tires. If he is on the stock tires, he will be a wheel spinnin MF'er. Those stock tires suck so bad, elevation and driver comments also probab;y true. With cam gears, I think you pretty much have to put it on a dyno to get the full benefit.

yup, doesnt say wheels or tires. or what elevation he ran at. if it was at salt lake city raceway or bandimere in denver, that would be a decent time.

hmm...his compression doesn't look right either (10.6:1). Unless he changed the pistons too. A GSR's compression is 9.8:1 - a Mugen headgasket won't raise it 0.8 points, unless I'm mistaking for another headgasket.

I was gonna say, "Maybe you ran your car out here in Southern California, where all the tracks suck", but you're from Ohio, so no, that doesnt sound right.

what was your 60 ft, trap speed, what tires, what suspension, weight of car with driver in....
