That offset is too low. Go at least 48mm+

Yeah, 40 is a bit low, but 45 will be perfect. I have 18x7.5, +45 offset, no rubbing. You can survive with 42 or 43, but I'd say 45 or 48 would be better.

No 40mm is not to low. That is exactly what I have on my 2003 Accord V6 coupe w/ 18 x 7.5 and 235-40-18". They fit perfectly for the car! They came from discount tire.

Isn't that a tad bit too wide of a tire? I have 225/40/18 and those still stick out a bit but still perfect. Anyways....I also have 18x7.5 with +40 offset and they fit fine, but I have a sedan so I'm not sure if it's the same or not. After I lowered the car, I was afraid of rubbing like crazy, but I only rub IF I have like 3 people in the back WITH my system and I hit a bit bump like a pothole or something with no one in the back. But I do wish I had like +42 or +43. If you can go higher, go for it, but if not, then don't worry TOO much about it.

i just ordered 18x 7.5 konig prophet 45mm offset. heard that was a better offset then 40. So glad I did not order from discounttire, there prices are horrible. they wanted 108$ extra per wheel and 35$ more per tire but I got 225/40/18 kuhmo's comin too.. Can't wait.. jschmid: what springs you got? I got a eibach pro kit...

I have H&R sports 1.75F, 1.5R. Since that pic in my sig was taken, I've lowered the front .25" more with my koni yellows.

BTW...Discount will match prices.

your offsets fine. i use to run 38+ w/ 18x8's. really aggressive standing look. you'll be slickly tucked w/ your setup.

i've got +45 w/ 18x7.5 rims. that's what a lot of people recommended to me. and a lot of accord owners have that setup for 18's.
