Default 205/40/17?

I just bought rims for my 97 LS they have 205/40/17 kuhmo tires on them, my qeustion is, will they tuck when I lower it and will they look crappy if I dont lower it? any comments would be great thanks

how much are you going to lower the car? and yess, it will look quite bad not being lowered.

I was thinking maybe two inches, what do you think would be good I dont want it slamed though

two inches might tuck a little bit of tire, nothing more though. but it will look good.

Tucking would depend on the offset of the wheel. If you have the wrong offset and you lower the car, you might experience rubbing...

do you happen to know the offset on the 17" Exel bk-7's?

Sorry, but I don't. When you bought the wheels, do you still have the boxes that came with it? If not, there could be something in the inside of the wheel that could tell you some info.

Well I just ordered the wheels off of wheel max so I dont have them yet but when I get them Ill check. do you know what offset will rub and which wont?

Somewhere between +40 and +45 should be ok.

i would only go about and 1.5 inches on the drop. 2 inches may be pushing it with your rims.
