Hey ppl, perhaps one of you may be able to help me out. On the door jam of my beloved 93 10th Anniversary Edition Accord, it says the date of manufacture is 8-93, making it one of the last 4G Accords built. How can I find out what exact day it was made on? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Look at the plate in the drivers door. It should give the date of assembly.

 

It gives month and year only. I'm looking for mm/dd/yy.

 

Did you edit your first post? I don't remember you saying the month and year before.

Anyway, I have no idea after that. Isn't the month specific enough?

It's not like an exotic that is going to be valuable if it's the last one off the assembly line. :fawk:

nah it wasnt edited. i know it isnt an exotic or ultra-valuable, but its more for a peace of mind and sheer curiosity. Hell, if midlife crisis ppl can find out the exact day, sometimes hour of manufacture for their 196X Corvette, Corvair, GTO, M(R)ustang, Domestic Turdwagon, then I'd like to too. Besides, my car's 10th birthday is coming up soon.

 

My car has the manufacture date written in chalk on the underside of the hood. 8/98

 

Well I was able to find some dates on little price-tag stickers on the back of some trim pieces in my CL. The latest date I've seen is 05/20/02, so I figure it was completed on that date since those would be the last parts to assemble. I picked it up on 6/13/02... today is it's one year Birthday! Happy Birthday CL !
