Default V6 EGR Valve

What exactly goes wrong with these in the j30 motors? My Acuras check engine light is on, and the code comes up for "EGR valve, insufficent flow". It is covered under warranty by acura, but I can never get the car down to the dealer, and a Honda dealer wont fix the problem for me.

Is there something that can be done with it? I know its right on the top of the motor, and pretty easy to get to... but what would I have to do to the damn thing to get it working properly again?

I'm asking here, cause I know certain accord V6s had the same problem.

Basically the EGR valve is replaced also the intake manifold is removed because the port gets clogged with carbon. Once its removed we have a special drill bit to enlarge the port and then there is a special sleeve that we insert. And that is about it.

EGR is a common problem. Mine blew at 40k, the dealer got Honda to reimburse the expenses.
