Default lowering q's ...

i'm thinking about getting Comptech's lowering springs. they bring the car down 1.25 inches in the front, 1.00 inches in the back. few questions though ...

what will my ride feel like? will it be extremely bouncy?

will i be fine with stock shocks? or will i need new ones?

will i need a camber kit?

i'm extremely uneducated when it comes to suspension topics.

It'll ride fine. Probably much like stock, a bit more firm and sporty in the corners.

Stock shocks would be fine, I rode on my stock shocks with H&R sports for 2 years, no problems.

But if you have the money for high quality replacement shocks, I'd get new shocks at the same time.

With a drop that low, you won't have to worry about camber correction. I have uncorrected negative camber, but I just rotate my tires, no problems after 2+ years. It'll be within the specs up front, and perhaps just slightly out of spec in the rear, but nothing to worry about.

Talk to v6master on this board. He has a nice 2002 V6 sedan with the comptech springs and Tokico Illumina shocks and says he's really satisfied with the setup. I've seen his car, looks great. It's not a real noticable drop, but better than stock.
