Default wheel fitment for 2003 Accord V6

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if a 235/45/17 tire on a 17x7.5 rims will fit the 7th gen Accord V6 with no adjusment to the suspension geometry? It doesn't seem like there is much room for larger tires and I want to make sure nothing will scrub if I went this route.

Thanks for any info in advance.

Your right there isn't much room for larger/wider tires. If your concerned about tire rub, stick with a 215/50-17 on 17X7.5 rim for the 03 models. Everyone has there own opinion though! I would stay on the safe side.
You could check out the upgrade garage at tirerack.com! Hope I helped.

234/45 is overkill.

Actually, main reason for going 235/45/17 is because the tire that I'm interested in (Firestone SZ50 EP) does not come in the 215/50/17 size, which is a major bummer.

Then get a better tire. Goodyear F1 GS-D3 come in 215/50/17 I believe.

Eugh. S-01's are horrid. What Dunlop had 215/50/17?

Actually, I did check. No, 215/50/17 is not available for the GS-D3.
That sure is a rare size for good tires.

Hm...maybe you should go 225/45/17 then. I think that would maintain circumference.
