Hey Im getting my car resprayed to a silver instead of the gold/silver it is now. those rubber strips that run down the side of the car, can i just have them painted over? I've seen many other accords and such that have had them painted. anyone whose had this done let me know if you replaced them w/ hard plastics ones or something or whatever. see the pic:

 

I dont really know, But heres a tip get your car lowered it makes it look 10X better.. I like your rims though

 

of course you can paint them!

 

actually, since you're getting your car painted, why dont you have the side moldigns shaved .

 

yeah it'd be nice to be able to lower my car but I'm kinda broke. I got rear ended, thats why I'm painting my car, I have to pay the $400 for the rest of the paint (all insurance is covering paint wise is most of the rear and the front bumper). And I just spent $921 on a Greddy Evo, AEM CAI, Bypass Valve, and MSD Ignition. Im getting my springs next. I don't know if I wanna shave the sides, I think the flat spot it leaves looks a little funny, I'll think about it though.

 

Leave them, get them painted, save for suspension.
