Removal Of Bumpers 1996 Accord
There are these nasty little clips on the top part of the rear bumper, inside where the trunk is. I can't figure out how to get the damn things off. They appearently screw off somehow, but when you turn them, the just keep twisting. Any help with this, would be greatly appreciated. I need to fit and install my bumper before I paint it, so I can make sure everything fits correctly. I think these clips are on the front bumper too....
Think of it this way...those clips are composed of two parts. A male and female. Pull the male part (the little screw type thing with a flathead groove in it) half way out. Then the whole clip should fall out or be able to be pried out with a flathead screwdriver.
Be prepared to buy a few new ones, some are really stuck, you and might have to break them to get them out. (or severely mutilate them).

Do your best to not break them. If you do, those things are ridiculously expensive. I payed over 2.50 each for mine at Majestic Honda.
