Default New Daily driver

Hey guys....Brand new to the forum and a bit out of my element. Looking to buy a new daily driver and my sisters boyfriend has gotten me "somewhat" convinced that I need either a Honda or Acura..I want something quick that still gets decent gas mileage (for the last year I've ben driving my 01 GMC Z71) I am hoping to get around 25 mpg or so

Heres what I like so far
RSX S type
CL 3.2 S type
and the new Accord coupe

which of these has the most parts available and will get me this amount of mpg

You need to test drive them all and figure out what you can afford and like best, since you picked three different classes of cars And it's Type-S, btw.

All will get you 25MPG on 90% highway. If you did your own research you'd see their specific MPG ratings. The RSX-S obviously has more aftermarket tuner parts out for it since it's the most affordable and sportiest, but that shouldn't influence your decision much. You can still build a CL-S 6 speed to 340 horsepower or so and the Accord Coupe 6 speed will have similiar potential.

yeah test drive em all, they all have a different feeling to them, the accord and CL kinda close tho, but rsx more sporty, they are all great cars in my mind!! if you look in the rsx section there is a post about a 300hp rsx!! insane power!! all N/A too!!

I'm sort of in the same boat. I drove a 03 CL Type-S six speed yesterday with about 7,800 miles on it. Very nice car that's freakin quick as hell. It's silver with the black leather interior. The dealership is asking $26,900 for it. Are those cars high maintence though? For some reason it seems like they would be. I'm going back tomorrow to look at a 2002 RSX Type-S that they have on the same lot. Their asking $19,800 for that one. Then from there I'm going to take one final look at the EVO that's currently going for 28k.......... Damn that six speed CL Type-S is nice!

I appreciate you guys posting back.....I think I am leaning heavily towards the CL Type-S <---notice my correction:thumbup: I've been doing some research on this and a couple of other boards...looks like the CL has enough mods available to make me happy....or anyone else for that matter...except maybe John Force

All cars you mentioned are excellent choices, not at all high maintenence, and will get good mileage. I have gotten as much as 32.8mpg in my CL... and yes it is fast as hell especially when you mod it Check out Acura-CL.com, those guys will hook you up...
