Default shopping for 6x9s....

i blew my clarion 6x9 the other day. Not sure how...i guess they are just kinda old.

I was thinking of purchasing Infinity KAPPA693.5I.

Anyone know any info about these? Any recommendations welcome. looking to spend 200$ or less.

Go and listen to your top choices (atlocal shops) and go from there... They're all gonna be pretty similar in sound. Just make sure you use the same deck or amp to what you will be using when you demo them.

some 6x9s that come to mind

Infinity Kappa
Alpine Type R
Pioneer REV (TS-D690R)
Eclipse 83941
Kenwood eXcelon

All of these can be found at local audio shops in the range of $150-250. All do their job, with treble differences you'll have to hear to decide which you like the best

By listening to a variety of 6x9s at your local shops you will definitely get the best idea of what you should purchase.
