Default headlight bulbs

Ok, heres the deal. . . I need bright lights to drive at night, not just this OEM crap, I mean i want headlight bulbs that i might need a stadium lighting permit to use but would still be street legal. I installed an extra set of fog lights AND driving lights on my legend and that was a big help, but I don't have the cash to do that with my 94 accord right now and if anyone has any particular ideas that would help, they would be much appreciated. I've read about using highbeam bulbs and doing the ISO 9005 conversion, would those lights still be street legal?

most aftermarket bulbs are all the same...only varying in emitted color....If you want brightness, get HID...JMO.

if you are gonna get some white colored bulbs for your headlights you better get some kind of foglights too cuz in the rain, you won't be seeing **** with white headlights.

i just did the 9005 conversion with the Sylvania Stars. I am kinda disappointed in them because i had my hiperwhites on before and the hyperwhites looks better and was bout the same in light output.

agreed. if you want to save $20, just do the 9005 conversion on the Sylvania Cool Blues. whatever you do, don't pop $100 on PIAA bulbs, it's not worth it.

or you could always get used HID kits off of Chris ...

it went smooth ... just to test it, me and my brother wired up everything without mounting the ballasts. he held a bulb, then i flicked on the lights to see how they look. OMG ... we were seeing spots for the next 5 min. it was SO DAMN BRIGHT! also, i had no idea that when they fire up, they sound like bug zappers. HID IS THE WAY TO GO ... thanks again chris!

Here's a little article about hyperwhite bulbs and why the claim of "its white and brighter!" is all a load of :bs:
