ive been lookin for a few days now and i cant get a straight answer!!

will stock integra type r headers and the exhaust fit on a integra ls
more specific.. will headers & exhaust from a 2000 itr fit on a 95 ls???

ive searched torontointegras.. this place.. clubsi.. torontostreetracing.. blah blah.. and i found some ppl talking about it but everyone wasnt sure..
some ppl said the LS headers can be swapped for GSR headers.. and then the gsr headers can be swapped for ITR headers.. or somefin? and when you swap you might have to customize each part? wtf

i even went to 3 muffler shops today.. 2 performance shops.. AND honda dealership..
and no one ****in knows WTF?!
is this some kind of abnormality to want to swap the full exhaust from a itr onto my ls?

the reason why im asking and im so stubborn about the itr stuff is cuz i know someone selling the full thing.. and my exhaust pipes are rusted through and need a new one asap!

also(sorry for making this so long).. but would anyone know if i would get any performance gains by installing the whole itr exhaust & headers onto my ls

The exhaust will fit u just have to get a good shop to put it on but y would u want to it wont give that much of a boost the header im not sure most likely not , if u REALLY want it u can have a shop weld the proper flange but unless ur gettin the headers for under a hundred bux u can get a cheap ceramic coated header for about 110 with probably better flow chars. hope this helps peace


edit: not to be an ass but we have inline engines so just 1 header not 2

 

the exhaust will bolt straight on. i got one from a 01 ITR and it fit my 94 RS....and i have a sedan too h: but it sits kinda tucked under so you cant really see it that well... oh well :dunno:

as for the header, Spec R tried to put a stock US ITR header on but it wouldnt fit. the bolts on the flange and head were slightly off and only the end bolts fit.

I am not sure about a USDM ITR header...but you can get the JDM 4-1 header, a JDM OEM CAT or compatable high flow cat and the JDM exhaust and that will fit. Or atleast it will for the GSR. I have talked to the guys at King Motorsports a lot because I want to put the Mugen 4-2-1 header on my car but I also need the JDM ITR cat and the Mugen JDM ITR twin-loop exhaust. My only problem is the approx. $2000 to get the parts. But King has assured me it will all fit as they have done other GSRs the same way.

 

Any B series header will fit on any B series motor. But there are different length a pipes. The ITR and LS share the same length, so there's no reason it will not fit.

Why someone above couldn't get it on? Who knows, something's not right there...
