Default What is your favorite Teg?

Self explained... though I think the biggest debate is between:

LS
GSR
and Type R

We have something that you turbo better, something all around, and one pure speed. Or atleast in my mind, haha.

Go!

ls, rs, gs, gsr, type r

I love the Type-R but my favorite is the GSR because of it's sport and luxury combination. I like having the moonroof and leather seats.

I dig my GS-R but I'm a total whore for a real Type R. They're just so mean and raw... everything about them screams "Drive me!"

And they're one of the few cars that makes Bright Yellow paint look manly

Type R...without a doubt.

I love my GSR but wish I had gotten the R.

-=-=-=- BUMP -=-=-=-

Why do you guys like the Type Rs and GSRs so much? I'll list some reasons on why I would probably go GSR overall.

- Insurrance for Type R. I am turning 16 in 24 hours (May 22, 2:42pm Cental US) and that would bust through the roof. Any age really.
- GSR has options of Leather and Sunroof. And for me, I like the sunroof option. Feels open
- You can fix it up alot and not get flamed for fixing a Type R. It's true.

Anyone else gonna stand up for what they want?

Happy Birthday man. Unfortunately you'll get jacked on the insurance on a GSR at 16 as well.

Well my GS-R was my older brother's, who bought it new in '97. I 'inherited' it 13 months ago. At that time I thought about selling it and buying a 300ZX-TT or an RX-7 by putting in about 7K of my own money, but never a Type-R. I like the leather (though cloth seats are more practical) and the sunroof - but more importantly there is nothing _overly_ special about the Type-R that made me consider getting it over my GS-R (it's still FWD). Plus, then I'd be paranoid all the time about it getting stolen (it's bad enough with the GS-R). Also, I've spent about 1 hour behind an ITR, and noticed an improvement in acceleration and cornering, but I had to 'look for it' if that makes any sense.

But not AS jacked That is why I am gonna be saving for the next 2 years. I just got another job at a Web Design company, and already working at MccyDs.

I think it would be easier to get a GSR -=- fix the handling and perhaps get a Type R Wing to save some cash? Well, that is what I hope to do. I know some people here have a Type R and hopfully they can post. .... C'mon!

EDIT: But if you can get low insurrance for some reason and just love the speed get a Type R. But I would be paranoid on having one. Before I mod it, I would put about $5k of alarm equipment on it

But having a full Conversion [GSR-Type.R] would probably cost alot.
