Default Protecting ECU Suggestion

My car was broken into and just got it running again. Need some anti theft aside from the stock Alarm. My current concern is the ECU. Not sure why, but they went for my stock LS ECU and nothing else. (not even the quarters in the change tray) Anyway just wondering if there are any products to protect my ECU? A while back I’ve read an article about relocating the ECU under the radio. I think most of the Honda’s/Acura’s have the trapped under the driver seat. But, the G3 Integra is near the passenger side kick panel. Anyone have details on that?

Any Suggestion, ideas, etc... would be greatly appreciated.
Willing to experiment and make a DIY

thanks,
Mike

You can get hex screws for the ECU so it will make it a little harder for them to get to. Also, put solder in the hex hole so that they can't even turn it. When you want to take out your ECU, just melt the solder.

My friend with a GSR had 3 attempts on his ECU. he fabricated a new harness that bolts to the car around the ECU using hex screws. for the kick panel, he reinforced the edges with a metal plate and drilled hex bolts into the car. pretty nifty.
