Default 95 Integra LS Tranny problem

Help.... My integra ls has 65K actual miles. When I step on it, the tranny (automatic) wants to redline before shifting, when it does shift, it rolls from 2nd. to 3rd. gear very quickly. When driving normally, all of the gears engage properly without slippage. Am I looking at something major???

Default Damn dude!!!!

I had that problem with my 94 Teg Auto tranny so I switched it to a gsr 5 speed tranny with a vtec head on the Ls block.....NEVER HAD A PROBLRM SINCE, Hey come to think of it, if you can get me a 4 Lug conversion from any one from a Jdm type R Ill be happy to trade you for a 5 speed B18c tranny it will fit your stock B18b Ls engine without mods but you have to get the pedal set and that stuff I dont know how much you want to spend for that, Hey I will even settle for a conversion for a prelude 4Lug pattern or the accord 4Lug pattern the one that is slightly larger than the one on the integra now...But IT has to Fit Im pretty sure you can find someone that could trade you a auto tranny for the b18C tranny if you dont wanna go that route.............let me know.........

I had the same problem... according to the garage, the auto tranny clutch plates were worn down and eventually broke up. Your basically looking at a new tranny, but check your tranny fluid first, and see when was the last time you had the fluid replaced.

As for manual->auto swap... its not a direct bolt in. The auto tranny mount sits about 1" higher then the manual... so you'll have to cut the tranny mount and have it rewelded....

THe auto Tranny Fluid is Super easy to change on the integra.

Its Super simple, (unbolt the drain plug) let it drain, then tighten drain plug, top it up with ATF($6 a jug).

no filter kits, Nothing to worry about. However driving a 5 speed would solve that problem all together!
