Default Deceleration Probs

whenever i left off the gas anticipating a stop my rpms dont drop like it used to. like if im going 40 then i let off the gas and slowly depress the brake the rpms dont drop unless i blip the throttle or wait until im at a complete stop for at least 3 seconds. i checked if my throttle was sticking but it isnt. checked the cable deflection and its within spec. what else could it be?

btw its a y8 auto.

maybe its a vacuum leak somewhere or maybe even the tranny?

thanks

Where's your timing set at? You might have it advanced too far. Also check your TPS setting.

any chance it could be malfunctioning cruise-control? I'd check the other more informed opinions first though.
