Default spoon vtec

i was wondering if the spoon vtec (spoon sport VC-3E) will work on my 2000 d16y8. i know the harness part won't fit.. but what if i modified it to fit an OBDII then will it still work?

You should be able to get it to work, granted you know what all the wires are for and where to tap them. I would save yourself the hassle, and look for power elsewhere. If you need the ability to adjust your VTEC engagement that badly, I would look for a used V-AFC, which can be had fairly cheaply.

I would agree just dont waste the time or money when you can have the same outcome with VAFC

the cheapest i've seen are still around $275 or so. as for the spoon... it can be had cheaply as well. there are tons of used ones for sale in japan for under $100. so i dont' think i can find apexi ones cheaper than that.
