I've seen a couple of 6gens driving around with daytime running lights. They are actually the high beams on at a lower output. After a little bit of research I found out that Canadian models were equipped with these DRL's. Is there any way to get those on my ride, either by re-wiring or buying some sort of kit? They look tight.

 

You could try a Canadian auto salvage yard and get the module our cars have.

I just have to ask: why? There have been several times where I've been cruising and have not wanted headlights, such as the "lights on the lake" program that they have here in CNY, people with DRLs piss me off because im taking my girl to look at light displays on the lake of christmas crap and I got this guy behind me in a Blazer with his freaking DRL's up on my ass. That's my rant.

 

u like the look of the dirty yellow daytime running lights? they wouldnt be so bad if you could make the color look white, but since theyre 1/2 intensity, the color will always be a dirty yellow.

 

yeah. even if you change to blue hyperwhite bulbs theyre still yellow. (tried them before)

i dont think anything works well during daytime unless you're underground or something. i mean the sun's out during daytime...usually...

just messin with you man. yeah. hyperwhites suck, but i like mine. my setup seems to work real well and give off high amounts of glare, especially since my lights aren't angled down. i would like to compare mine to anybody's current light setup.

jk i dont have a gun, just legal stuff like shanks and "beaters" in my car. but i've had some pretty good experiences with other cars.

last time my friend threw a pickle out of my car and other trash out my sunroof and it hit a CL with 5 asian gangsters in it and they got all pissed and started to flash shanks at me and followed me... so i called up my friend and he drove in front of them (they dont know he's with me) and then slammed the brakes and almost made them flip by hitting the center divider. i thought it was funny. shoulda held them off longer, we were still making more calls.
