Light bulb seems to be fused to tail light socket.
Hi,
I have a 92 Civic Hatchback and when I tried to replace the light bulb in the tail/brake outer tail light it was fused to the socket or at least rather stuck. Anyone has any idea if I can use some sort of solution so I might be able to remove it? Honda charges 31.90 for the socket and I was thinking I might find another way so I don't have to replace all 3 sockets in the outer tail light?
Thanks and Best Regards,

Previous person probably didn't use bulb/electrical grease OR water got in there and caused it to corrode. You can try some vinegar and try to dip the socket/bulb in there (make sure to disconnect the battery terminal). And let it sit there for an hour or so. If not try some WD-40 in there and let it sit for 1-2 hours.
If that doesn't work a little heat from a hair dryer maybe to get the socket warm and to expand.
