Default Exhaust "burping"? What causes it?

I've got a 94 GS-R i/h/e (GReddy Evo exhaust). Anyways, for the past 6 months that I've had my exhuast in, it's pissed me off that when I'm slightly on the throttle (like, accel pedal depressed only about 1/2cm), the exhaust burps/farts/rumbles... is this a side-effect of not enough back pressure on the B18C?

I notice it most when I let off the throttle and I'm deaccelerating... for a split second it farts like twice, then that's about it. Any ideas/knowledge?

its just like a back fire, shiit just run header and no exhaust, see if it dont really fart, but i like that sound so i dont know why it pisses you off unless its really loud, i mean every exhaust does that, it does it in my accent 1.5 liter, i rev it up just a lil bit and it will crackle a lil bit, but its not loud, if thats wut your hearing.

have you had your valves adjusted lately? exhaust valves that are out of spec will cause some "burping" as reversion takes place.
