Tranny help
Hello all.
I recently bought an EX S40 tranny off eBay. My old S40 had a bad input shaft bearing, but everything else was fine with it. I installed the new tranny, along with a stage 1 exedy clutch, and everything went fine till I went for a test drive. Third gear grinds. DANG! Anyways. Now I'm thinking about taking the gear set out of the old S40 and just throwing it in the new s40. Anyone have any other ideas? I called Honda and they wanted $332 for a 3rd/4th syncro set. Not worth it.
