Input shaft bearings in my S40 a000 are making a ton of noise, so I picked up an S40 b000 out of a 97 EX. Has 90,000 on it. Going to use Red Line MTL. I'll post some pics.

 

I'm also planning on rebuilding the old tranny, and selling it. I was going to just rebuild it, so I wouldn't have to buy a new one, but I figured the EX tranny will be a welcome addition to my daily driver.
Now I just need to decide what clutch to get. I was thinking stock, or possibly stage 1, since I'm not racing it.

 

You'll definitely love the upgrade from the stock clutch. I've had an Exedy stage 1, so I would recommend that.
