stock or aftermarket inatake manifold??
I have a 96 GSR head that Im going to put on my 98 LS(b18b1) block. Everything is mostly assembled, and the engine is set up for a turbo (no more than 14 puonds of boost). I ported the head slightly, just cleaned everyhting up. I get about 5 or 6 more cfm than stock. I dont have an intake man. or a throttle body yet, and I was wondering if stock parts will do. Or if afterarket parts like JG edelbrock are worth the extra money?
Has anyone built this kind of motor and seen results?

I assume that your block is built if you're gonna be running an LSVTEC on 14lbs of boost. This being said, if you're gonna be boosting the JG Edelbrock manifold will be good for your application. Its large intake plenum is great for boosted application, and will yeild some decent gains over the stock manifold.

On a motor flowing that much air, every little bit helps...I'd get a TB to go with the manifold.
