Default Burning Smell after Oil Change

I changed my oil yesterday at 9000 miles...I drove it this morning for the first time and when i came home...shut it off...started to smell something burning from under the hood.

I popped the hood open a little smoke came out...

When I changed the oil, a little dripped onto some pipes and what not...is that the reason??? If it is I hope there's really no problem then...

Sometimes if you put those engine additives to your car after an oil change. You'll smell a real bad oil burning smell, but it'll go away after the next gas fillup though.
