You can always upgrade if you want anyway.
But the reason for having a large hard drive is that some games take up space, (rumor is GT5 takes 10gig). And you can also download entire games from the playstation store.
But like i said, if you find yourself using a lot, you can always put a new hard drive in it.

i don't use much of 360 hdd at all.
i saw that deal, but a) i don't want to wait in line on black friday and b) i want to play gt5 all day on thanksgiving.
