Default Just put in my AEM pulleys...

Dont notice that much of a difference, It does climbt he tach fast from 6K+

it was just a set of tru poiwer pulles, the PS and alternator one....I also put in my Autometer AF and volt gauges in today.....the look good, i will take pics tonight....

you shoulda went with unorthodox pulley set. it includes an ultra light crank pulley as well as the accessory pulleys. more money but put it this way.. you get wat u pay for i netted ~8 hp from the pulleys

8 whp? Not bad at all. I assume you don't have a booming stereo system in the trunk?

I was thinking about also getting the crak pulley from wem to match but I dont know the needed belt sizes...

i was under the impression that pulleys don't really do much as far as performance goes on our cars....i thought they worked better with muscle cars......maybe thats why you don't feel a difference....

One of the reps at work has a 99 grs and he told me bsides the greddy header he has, his aem tur pulleys gave him the biggest difference I did run with a few other cars this more and the second i would wind up and hit 5k I pulled out hard.....so i guess it did make a lil difference......I need a dc sports 4-1 header, but it will viod my warrenty lol

bs on the aem puilleys making a difference thats noticable. the crank pulley is the one that really makes the difference
the stock one is very heavy compared to the unorthodox one. it realieves some stress off your crank shaft and allows the engine to rev up alittle faster. kinda like the lightened flywheels

how much do unorthadox pulley's cost? and where is the best place to get them?

i dunno where the best place to get them is, i live right by the factory so i just picked some up there. but probly anywhere from 300-350 for the whole set.

Damn I only paid 65 shipped for my set of AEM's....I can live with 2 HP for that price lol
