is there a mileage blackbox on CL
Does anyone know if there is any way of telling for sure how much mileage is on a CL. I am considering a used machine and would like to know if there is a way for certain to determine how many miles are on the machine.

Bring it to the dealer or have the seller show you the service records which show the mileage on the paperwork.

I think the dealer can tell if there is any error code logged. If the odometer cable/wire was disconnected, it will general a code and the check engine light would come on.

the 1st gen CL's (97-99) do not have any such device... honesty and paperwork is all you can go on... the 2nd gen's (01-up) do have a "black box"... if you change the speedo cluster, the origional mileage on the car will read on the new cluster...
