It's a much more common swap for the 5th gen accords...This question has been asked a few times, try searching the forum.

From what I have collected:

It is a heavy motor, which makes it not very desirable for Auto-X. For straightline racing, I think it is a somewhat faster than stock. But I don't think are cars are made for straight line racing.

 

Well i should probably make another thread then but what is the best swap for the integra within reason.

 

The swap is kind of involved. You have to cut out the tranny mount to use the new mount kit. You have to cut a hole in your floor to run the cable shift linkage. The way the motor sits in the engine bay affects the cars balance, so you need some good suspension components to counteract this. Do a search, it's been covered a lot.

 

The best swap is no swap at all. The B18b/C1/C5 motors all have much more aftermarket support versus the H22, and they can make more than enough power to leave you sitting at the stoplight with the front wheels spinning.

The H22 will provide more power (especially torque) right off the bat, and it does have more potential, but I personally don't think it's worth swapping out a perfectly good B18b or B18C for it.

Now if you blew your stock motor and were looking for a replacement that would provide the most power period, the H22 is the way to go. There was an extended post not too long ago arguing which year H22 was the "best" for the Integra.
