Default Beer pongers

For those who play the game. I purchased a couple tables that i'm going to be renting out. I'm trying to come with a price plan that will help me stay profitable while giving great service. Now I know in some parts of the country this would not work. Thanks to Mr. Quimbo, it appears that California likes to party more then Philadelphia.

I bought 3 World Series of Beer Pong Official Tournament tables. Now let's say you were in a situation and you wanted to play Beer Pong and there was no table available. A buddy then states "Hey there's a place that rents tables and delivers them." First what is the first thing that comes to your mind, and second, how much would you be willing to pay for a service that comes with a table, rack, balls, and cups?

Thanks people.

Oh and i'm still waiting for the pics from my photographer but the ones from facebook are on my facebook page.

gonna be a tough sell to be completely honest

most people who play the game are quite adept at mcgivering up tables. . . we've built tables in suites at MLB and NHL games before lol

but if you could find the market? i guess if i was having a huge party and really wanted a professional table . . . 30 bucks?

Yea I already know it'll be a tough sell. The Mcguyvering of tables too is what I was also thinking as my biggest competition. I'm still trying to work on who my demographics will be. I'm thinking it'd be more for example, company outings (of course it wouldn't be beer), block parties, large picnics, things of that nature.

Oh and it'll work if i go about it the right way. As i've learned, there's a market for EVERYTHING man. I just need something to help me achieve my goal of opening a non-profit computer center in the hood. I want to teach kids and inner city youths about computers and such. They have tons of programs like that for kids in the suburbs but nothing in the city. That's my lifetime goal.

forget the whole looking for individuals and reg party people . . . build a whole "pong night" concept and market it to bars / clubs

something akin to a karaoke night. partner with the bars to have competitions, they pay you to come in . .. you market it, run the comps, help build up prizes, offer drink specials for the night, teams pay say a $10 entry fee. That's what i would try and do if it was me

This is going to end rough IMO. Your best shot is Jesse's idea. Good Luck.

I think you gotta cater to bars/clubs, etc like Jesse said. If you're running a business and providing the accessories to individuals, you'll probably need to check ID to keep you out of trouble, and beer pong is mighty popular with the underage crowd. If you want a beer pong table, all you really need to do is pull a door off the hinges and set it on a couple of chairs.

Fold out tables are like $30 already arent they? I know nothing of beer pong though...but dont you just line up cups on a flat surface?

but good shit on wanting to start up the non-profit. if you are just wanting to get capital from this idea just to support your dream...it might be better for you to spend that energy looking into other means of starting up the non-profit. getting connections to this field is key...and you dont have to fund the thing through your own pockets.
