Default Snowboard crew! v.what's your setup this year?

I know it's only October but I can't wait for the season to start.

What's your setup this year? I got myself a new board to fuck around with and will be getting new boots and bindings soon.

Previous setup:
Burton Bullet 159
K2 V8 Bindings
Lamar Boots

New setup:
Lib Tech Skate Banana 159 / Burton Bullet 159
Union Force Bindings
?? boots, probably Burton as they are sooo cushy

There's usually a whole lot of ice where I ride so hopefully magnetraction serves me pretty well. My Bullet is camber so I can switch between the two boards depending on where I'm riding.

two plankers can play :chuckles:

yeah i dont really know dick about boards, just some spillover from ski crap, i guess it took some people a little getting used to the weird flex ability of them on hard snow, but i dont board...

this yrs quiver:

k2 made'n ak (brewski) 189cm / rossi fks 14din - go to ski for any soft snow, stupid soft but buttery smooth, twin tip jibby goodness
rossi course 9s 193cm / fks (swap over) - rock ski, prob wont bother this yr just use ...
dynastar coupe g9 203cm / marker mrr 14din - resort hard snow and early season
dynastar coupe g9 213cm / head 16din - night ski, longboard day, race, not super useful unless going mach looney on them and cant do that without getting pass pulled...
authier 180cm / tyrolia trb - im not sure i am going to toy with these, they are from the 80's and might explode if i try them in the backcountry, but fuckit they might make it out this yr anyway
im looking for a good crud busting ski with tip rocker and stiff flex, been keeping an eye on cl for a score, but nothing yet...

need to put some work into boots as usual, fucking things are a never ending battle
picked up a new bern helmet, need the winter liner
found an avy beacon at goodwill, within spec and still ticks, score!!
looking for alpine trekkers or maybe dukes/fritschi/etc... for bc use, but its a pipe dream
need new goggles, waiting for a deal on io's or something decent

i took a 15 yr old marmot goretex shell that was starting to delaminate into rei and walked out with a brand new arcteryx proshell
goodbye mcdonald coat :bye: i will never be as easy to find upside down in the snow as when wearing you
all praise ullr, we welcome la nina to the PNW
fuggin stoked for winter

Union > *

Got a new setup last year, so I'm gonna rock that since I only got 2.1 days on it thanks to injury.

'09 Academy Team 152
Union Data Pinstripe
Rome Bodega

All I need to do is detune the edges a bit so I don't have a repeat of last season. I might pick up a spare set of bindings for my old board as a fuck around/early season/park board...and a set of cushy insoles for the boots.

Those bindings are boss!

My friend has the rasta ones, they look sick!

The Force is the same binding but without the extra steez. How do the straps and clips feel?
