Default Warranty companies are...

AWESOME!

My 50" 2 year old plasma was having panel issues so the warranty company sent out a technician...he deemed it needed a new panel. Just got off the phone with them. I am getting a brand new tv that is the 3rd version (mine is the a model new one well be c model). Asked then about the old set (a model) and they said keep it. SWEET! Issue isn't that bad so craigslisting it.

They also offered a check instead of the new tv ($900). Going with new tv since it runs cooler and less energy...plus new upgrades.

Only reason I would go with check is sell the old one and get an led, but better saving the extra monies from sake towards house.

everytime i got a warranty on something, it never broke... everytime i didnt get a warranty on something, it broke

that being said... my friend has a laptop that he bough in like 2002 and he has the 2009 version of it because it "broke" every 2 years.

Oh GIGGITY!!!! The new set just arrived. All plugged in and running the burn in DVD now...should play for about 24-48 hours at a minimum. Thing is like half the weight and sexier than the old one.
