Default Doing a tune up on a 96 TL 3.2, got ?s

I am not really up on the Acuras or Hondas, I am tuning up my girls 96 3.2TL. I was wondering what you guys use as far as plugs, wires ect. Also I am going to do her rear struts. Any after market companies out there making them? The dealer keeps telling her its a dealer part only. Any help is apreciated!

If you have to replace the plugs and wires, go with NGK. I believe factory uses NGK also, and NGK wires are usually cheaper or close to the factory $$$$. As for rear struts, you can check Tokico or Kab. But if your girlfiend's car is stock, you should use the factory struts.

Yeah her car is stock, ok so pick up the struts from Acura, gotcha ya.

Like I said I never tuned up a Acura, what else would I need besides plugs and wires? Cap, rotor, fuel filter? Anything will help, thanks.

How many miles are on her car? You might need to replace the tranny fluid/oil/coolant too. Plus, fuel filter, or maybe even the timing belt.

130K+, its going in for a timing belt and water pump.

The oil, tranny fluid were just changed. The coolant was just done also at teh dealership. Now its up to me to do the plugs, cap, rotor, ect.
