Anyone from PA or that knows PA laws... do they check smog in PA for inspections?

I'm thinking of doing some exaust mods and getting a catback system possibly a new hi-flow cat to go with it. But I read they don't have the same smog reduction as a regular cat does, therefore it probably won't pass smog ... if they actually check.

Any ideas?

 

Yes, they check emissions. I have a Thermal Cat back and stock cat and passed. My friend has a test pipe on his GSR and switches it once a year for inspection
