Sun heats up "Enchilada" to burn rivals

As part of a multiproduct debut Tuesday, Sun Microsystems will add two new Unix servers code-named Enchilada to its menu, low-end models that are the first systems to use the new UltraSparc IIIi "Jalapeno" processor.

why name processors after food?

perhaps the success of "Java" has indicated this is a good idea.

INTEL names its CPU's after river names, actually most of its projects are named after land features near their base of operations.

that helps i thought you were just being weird, that's a pretty weird way to name things, i'd name processors realy cool names like the process-inator and the process-inator turbo and the ultimate process-inator
