Need to pick a new 5 or 6 speed transmission for my 98 LS Teg. Honda Si perhaps..? comments or suggestions? I will be putting a turbo on it.

 

a s80 from a gsr is always a good bet, or you could pull one from a type r if you want lsd, im not sure but i think some jdm gsr trannys had lsd also

 

A GSR S80 or Y80 is the smart choice since you're building your DC4 and smog isn't a concern.
Otherwise, there are cryo-treated gearsets for your stock S80.

As far as I know, only Quaife built a six-speed gearset for the S80 and Y80 boxes.
It cost an arm and a leg and may not be in production anymore.
