This car is a 1992 VX with 112,000 miles with no motor for $1,200.00. The body and interior are in great shape. Any downsides to a VX?

 

if no engine then no just put a better on that will fit go to jdmengines.com to fine the right one......

do you mean great shape, or ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS shape? I'd pay that much for a perfect hatch sans motor. Its still got all its supension, brake stuff, interior, clutch mc, battery and all that other crap, right?

Yeah, it's in pretty much flawless shape. An old lady is selling it. Her timing belt broke at 112,000 and ruined the motor. the motor was taken out by her son because he was going to slap a new one in but then she changed her mind ad bought a new car.

 

In that case, if everything else is there, I'd say its worth it.... Just try and talk her down a few hundred.

 

I'd say it's a good price if everything else is working just fine. A deal like that would be swept upon with a quickness in CA.

 

Damn, I'd say that is a good price as well. I know someone that just picked up a 5th Gen. Si w/ a blown motor for $2kish, so I'd say if you could get her down to about $1,000, you'd be in business :thumbup:.
