Default DC Sports H. on D16Y8

Does anyone know if the DC Sports 4-1 OR 4-2-1 Header will throw the check engine light on, on a D16Y8?? or what steps can I take to prevent this ?

you will be fine....just make sure you put in the 02 sensors correctly

although personally i don't think the header did much for my car and it's pain to take off. One of the bolts is hard to reach on the 4-2-1 model. I just took a hammer and bashed it in when i took it off to put my turbo manifold on

Btw if anyone wants the downpipe piece of a d16 4-2-1 dc ceramic header lemme know, it's just chillin in my garage.

Why don't you spend that money on a cam? A header will do almost nothing for a stock d16y8.

cause other than FI, nothing really will give me much gains on a stock/close to motor. A cam alone won't bring that much of a performance gain.

I have a DC 4-1 header on my 2000 EX, going on 18 months, never had the CEL come on.
