Just order Kosei 17"x7.5" (16#) rims and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in 225/45/YR17
When the tires and rims get here I will weigh them and also will weigh the OEM's for comparison. Diameter remains virtually the same. Stock Diameter 24.88" New rims and tire 24.97" The .09" difference isn't enough to bother with.

I haven't heard much about the Eagle F1, with the exception of that tires comparison article in Evo magazine. What do you know about them? Thanks.
edit: You have my commendations on your excellent choice in wheels.

Thanks on the wheels, they are actually my second choice, just couldn't swing 1200 for just wheels at this time, and another just under 600 for the tires. So I will be saving my pennies. Next the Hondata reflash.

you're getting them in white? that'll look hot on ABP... which were your first choice? lemme guess, the centerlines
haha, those are also damn nice, but yeah definitely not worth the price for just wheels

Those wheels are hella tight. Maybe we will have to put two pics of our cars next to each other to see the difference between black and white wheels on the abp rsx.

Thanks for the compliments, now if I can just keep them white.
K i o n: You are right on the Centerlines, (13.5# 17X7 Forged not cast) but it's not because they aren't worth it, I just don't have the extra money right now. Economic situation the way it is people aren't calling me for remodels, the bigger guys are taking smaller and smaller jobs. One of the companies that sent me referrals for jobs under $15000 is now doing them.

You a contractor? My father & uncle are too, they specialize in kitchens & baths, subcontract everything else out. I live right near Foxwoods Casino, Mohegan Sun, Pfizer, Electric Boat & Groton Sub Base. Housing boom like you wouldn't believe.
Back on-topic though, I've heard nothing but good about the F1s. If I was made of money, I would've gotten them over the S-03s, which I skipped for the Ecsta MXs. Once they wear in, let us know how they grip
Love the wheels, btw

Nice looking wheels, but I personally am not a fan of white. Maybe it'll look good on the APB RSX, only time and OLDMAN posting pics will tell huh? Nice choice on the tires....
OLDMAN, you know what everyones gonna want...get them mounted and take pics ASAP!!

Too bad my camera and computer don't talk to one another. Well if I don't like the white I can always get them powdercoated a different color, runs about 250-300 a set. I feel that the white is a love it or hate thing with no real in between.
ur31337: They weren't that expensive only paid 130.50 each after a $50 rebate (cash card) from Goodyear. Everything went through tirerack. With the rebate they ended up a little cheaper than the 225/50/ZR16 which are being discontinued.
Tirerack is also sending me some better hubcentric rings for them, they called and asked if I was going to race, told them some autoX, and a little road track. Now where is that torque wrench.......Oh well got a few days to find it.
