Im sure most of you have seen it. Its the one song I want to learn to play but have never pushed myself to. Anyway, was watching the original JerryC (the guy that gives the horns in the beginning) version and the funtwo kid also.. and found this:


Its a compilation of all the Canon Rock videos out there.. pretty cool talent.

Oh, and check out 1:52 for the sickest harmonic I've ever heard! :eek5:

that's nice...I also like this one (seeing that Toccata and Fugue in D Minor is prob one of my fave classical songs)

Canon in D and Hall of the Mountain King are my two favorite classical pieces.

in like the canon rock better than funtwo best.

i saw these vids years ago.

im not a fan of the asian guys that play with ZERO animation/enthusiasm. its rock song damn it.

It's the same 8 chords repeated in succession for the ENTIRE song. Absolutely the most repetitive piece in the entire classical music repertoire. I guess that's why it works well for rock.

Sorry for the negativity. I've played this piece far too many times.

P.S. some of those guitarists need to learn how to tune...

If you like toccata and fugue, check this out. Basically the best brass ensemble ever assembled. I have a better version on DVD but couldn't find it on youtube.
