Default dying my cloth seats??

Someone told me that its easy to dye cloth seats??? They are the grey 98 ex seats, and my interior is now black, so I'd like them to match better....

It may be easy to do, but why would you ruin your seats like that? The color will fade quickly and un-evenly and look very cheap. Better to re-stitch them with new cloth.

Think about how tough it would be to get all the dye out, and what happens on a hot sweaty day? You ass get black? I'd just try to trade someone, find another set, or get them recovered...

Well I have a habit of buying prodcuts and trying stuff out. I did the fabric dye on my rear seats, and this is what I think.
The dye wont rub off
If you put enough coats it will last
It DOES look like it has been spray painted
It looks okay but it isnt that great
It should only be temporary

werd on the fact that it should only be temp... save your money till you can afford some nice seats like some sparco's or even some out of a wrecked gsr or something... just my opinion though...
