Default For a higher redline you need the following....?

new cams,retainers,springs and valves? am i missing anything? does Skunk2,crane and crower make good parts? does anyone have a higer redline(not type r engine b/c they already have 9k redline) thanks

why do you want one....not all engines need more room to rev....but yes, that seems like everything unless you need to remove the rev limiter

because ls motor redline is under 7k i think. and with higher lift cams, power gains are sean most at high rpm's
like 8-8.5k

then yes on all the parts, but make sure check the specs and the lift on the cam to make sure it will work with your new springs, etc....most of the time it isn't a problem because the springs can handle more lift than street cams have, but just make sure....too expensive to make a mistake

skunk2 makes good ones.....i think spoon makes them....just any namebrand thats a big part of the market....i'm gonna get skunk when i do it though....JUN.....bunch of them

Skunk 2 stage 2's are nice and create good power gains. With the spoons you wont see as much power increase, because they're not made to. And you cant go wrong with juns.

correction itr does not have a 9k redline. they have a 8200? :thinking:

you'll also need to get the ecu done or get an already programmed one that will let you rev. the high.
