CTR N1 crank pulley.

I see that it does not have a harmonic damper. Their has been some talk about the underdrive crank pulleys damaging crank bearings because of them not having the harmonic damper. Sence this a race crank pulley, Its for racing only. Race engines get rebuilt several times a season. You might want to check in to this. I think it will do the same thing as the underdrive pulleys

 

Isn't that a factory CTR pulley? I have been wanting to get one for a while and it will be my next investment soon. JDM hondaparts has them for $135. If you don't mind me asking would that be more or less than what your friend paid for his.
About reliablity, if it's good enough for HONDA to put it on a 185 hp 1.6 engine, it's good enough for me

 

Yeah I've heard the same thing about the crank pulley causing problems

I know lots of people running these types of setups, and they've been okay.

I really not too worried about it.


um... I paid about $120 for both, $63 a piece. Since I placed my order the price has doubled.


JHP may have them advertised, I do not know if they have them in stock. If they do, buy it, if not you may in for a long wait. Like me.
